Dr. Tim Crutcher
Tim Crutcher is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and a fourth-generation Nazarene. After studies at Southern Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary, he and his wife Rhonda served as volunteer missionaries in Belgium (where Tim completed his graduate work) and Kenya (where they both served as professors at Africa Nazarene University). Tim has been teaching theology and church history at SNU since 2003 and has recently published a new introduction to John Wesley's life and thought.
Dr. Terrell Earnest
Dr. Terrell Earnest has a B.S. Degree with a major in accounting and a minor in management from Southern Nazarene University. He has a M.R.E. Degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Luther Rice Seminary. The Dissertation was, "An Understanding of the Pastor's Personal Finance".
Rev. Earnest has pastored for 21 years. Pastorates include; Oxford, MS, Vicksburg, MS, Guymon, OK, and Yukon, OK. For 7 years he served with the Stewardship Ministries, Church of the Nazarene Headquarters, Kansas City, MO. Dr. Earnest served for two years as the Vice President of Development for Mid-America Christian University. He retired at the Oklahoma District Assembly in 2013.
Rev. Doug Forsberg
Doug is a graduate of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, with an B.A. degree in Religion. He also has a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary and an M.A. in Philosophy from Oklahoma State University. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Christian Education at Southern Nazarene University. Doug has also served as lead pastor at Tulakes Community Church in Oklahoma City, Riverside Community Church in Ft. Worth, TX, and St. Petersburg First Church in St. Petersburg, FL. He is a published author and has been instrumental in establishing compassion ministry outreaches in Oklahoma City and St. Petersburg.
Dr. Rick Harvey
Rick is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University with a B.A. in Religion. He received his Masters of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary and his Doctorate of Ministry at Asbury Seminary. He has served as youth pastor at Kansas City First Church, and as pastor of Dale (TN), Columbia Grace (TN), Springdale (OH) and presently Bethany First Church of the Nazarene (OK). Rick and his wife, Annette, have two daughters, Brittany and Morgan, and one granddaughter, Sadie.
Rev. Barbara Jones
Ministry Experience: Rev. Barbara Jones and her husband served as career missionaries in South America, and pioneered the work in Paraguay, where she served as Director of Ministerial Training, working with her students to plant churches all across Paraguay. She served as instructor for Nazarene Bible College, Extension Ministerial Training in New York and Oklahoma School of Ministry, and COS instructor for Southeast and Oklahoma District. She is an ordained elder and co-pastored with her husband on the Metro N.Y. District, and Southeast OK District.
Other: Barbara is a published author, educator, and professional storyteller, who has given teacher in-service and conference workshops, and told stories in libraries, schools, and churches throughout the USA.

Rev. Jim Knight
Rev. Mike Meeks
Mike is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene and is in his 38th year as a pastor (Texas, Washington and Oklahoma). In addition, Mike serves as chairman of the ministry board for the Oklahoma District as well as new start coordinator for cowboy churches and serves as a committee member of the national Nazarene Cowboy Church Network. Since 2003 Mike has been an adjunct instructor in the School of Business, SNU and currently teaches courses for the MBA/MSM/MBAHC/MBASM programs. Mike's undergrad and masters degrees are from SNU. As well, he has earned 41 doctoral hours, adult education, from Oklahoma State University.
Joan (Burch) and Mike reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They have 3 grown daughters ( graduates of SNU) and 7 grandchildren.
Dr. Brint Montgomery
Brint Montgomery is professor of philosophy at Southern Nazarene University and serves as associate chair in the School of Theology and Ministry. He has taught at SNU for 20 years. After serving in both the Air Force (c. 1981) and the Army (c. 1985), he obtained a BA in Philosophy (1989) from Northwest Nazarene University, and attended Nazarene Theological Seminary (M.Div., 1994). He then went on to Oklahoma University in Philosophy (MA, 1996) and Philosophy of Mind (Ph.D., 2003). He is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene where he has worked in campus ministry. He was also a founding member and current review coordinator for the Wesleyan Philosophical Society. His academic writing has focused on Philosophy of Religion, and he has ongoing research interests in Philosophy of Mind, Logic, and Artificial Intelligence. He has also co-edited Relational Theology: A Contemporary Introduction (Point Loma Press, 2012). Brint married his college sweetheart, Emily, and they have three boys which keeps them quite busy.
Rev. Monte Nabors
Monte Nabors has served as a pastor, Christian education minister, and researcher. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University, and Nazarene Theological Seminary. His present focus of ministry interest is in the area of Christian holiness and prayer. He and his wife live in Oklahoma City.
Rev. Kason Oakes
Rev. Kason L. Oakes is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a B.A. in Business Administration and a Masters of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has served as a "circuit riding youth pastor" for Vici and Camp Creek Church of the Nazarenes and as NYI President for the formally known district of NWOK. He and his wife Casandra have three children Eason, Jace, and Isaac. He currently services as pastor of Watonga Church of the Nazarene and planting pastor of Harvest Church in Okeene, OK.
Dr. Doug Samples
After 20 years of pastoring Nazarene churches in Ohio and California, Dr. Samples is now in his 18th year of teaching Pastoral Ministry on the faculty of Southern Nazarene University and is the Director of the Ministerial Intern Scholarship Program. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he recently completed 8 years of pastoring the Lake Overholser Church of the Nazarene. He loves getting to know new friends and going through life in the Fun Car! His love for pastors is only exceeded by his love for preparing and mentoring the next generation of pastors.
Dr. Tim Taylor
Dr. Tim Taylor currently serves as Chair of the School of Education at Southern Nazarene University and is an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene.
Dr. Taylor completed his undergraduate degree from Southern Nazarene University (BNC), a Masters Degree in Counseling from Northeastern State University, and a Doctorate in Administration/Higher Education from Oklahoma State University. He completed his ministerial training in the Church of the Nazarene Ministerial Course of Study program.
Dr. Taylor has served on numerous church boards and committees, has served as Minister of Music in various churches, and is currently the director of Men's Ministries at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, Bethany, Oklahoma.
Dr. Taylor currently serves on the Oklahoma District Board of Ministerial Studies. He also serves as the District Liaison for Ministerial Studies in partnership with Southern Nazarene University, where he coordinates scheduling and technology for all Ministry in Training coursework for the Oklahoma District Church of the Nazarene.
Dr. Taylor is married to Elizabeth, a fifth grade teacher, and has 5 children. He is a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene.
Rev. Jim Williams
Jim Williams is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Before deployment as Nazarene missionaries Jim and Kaye (Tyrrell) were involved in pastoral ministries on the West Texas District from 1972 to 1975.
Jim and Kaye served as missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene for 40 years from 1976 until 2016. Their major ministry assignment was training pastors and missionaries for Taiwan, Hong Kong, and creative access areas. Some of the church leaders they trained are now serving as pastors and missionaries in 10 countries.
Jim has a B.A. in Speech and Communication from SNU and a M.A. in Religion from Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary. Jim took one-third of the courses for the degree from APNTS at China Evangelical Seminary in Taipei, Taiwan. Jim has earned over 50 doctoral hours in Missiology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.
